Learn to draw with me! I've been working as an illustrator professionally for 15 years and can teach you how to draw and develop your work as an artist/illustrator with simple steps and helpful feedback. Often what's most useful is not another online tutorial but actual human 1:1 support on your learning journey!

The course consists of 5x 1 hour Video Calls with me where I'll coach you through each lesson, giving you an overview of the ideas and plenty of drawing exercises throughout the call to help practice and level up your understanding of these concepts.

1. Composition & Values for Storytelling
   Setting the stage. Focal points. Emotional tone. + homework set for the following week.
   
2. Silhouette, Drama & Directing the Viewer
   Using shape, contrast, and rhythm to guide the viewer around your image. + homework set for the following week.
   
3. Colour: Mood, Harmony & Narrative
   How to choose palettes, tell stories through colour, and avoid muddy colour combinations. How to choose colours that work together and ways to change colours digitally. + homework set for the following week.
   
4. Framing, Depth & Atmosphere
   Cinematic framing, foreground/midground/background, atmospheric perspective. + homework set for the following week.
   
5. Critique & Refinement: What’s Working and What’s Not
   Guided critique and polish of one finished illustration. + moving forward tasks set with areas to keep working on.
